Prof. Dr. Matthias Maalouli-Hartmann promovierte 2013 am Institut für Psychologie der Universität Bern. Anschliessend arbeitete er als Forschungsstipendiant des Schweizerischen Nationalfonds (SNF) in der «Potsdam Embodied Cognition Group» (Universität Potsdam, Deutschland). 2016 kehrte er an die Universität Bern zurück, wo er sich mittels eines «SNF-Ambizione-Stipendiums» mit diversen Aspekten der Zahlenverarbeitung beschäftigte. Seit 2017 ist er an der FernUni Schweiz tätig, unterrichtet drei Module im deutschsprachigen Bachelor- und ein Modul im deutschsprachigen Master-Studiengang in Psychologie und führt diverse Forschungsprojekte im Bereich der experimentellen Kognitionspsychologie durch.
