In diesem Projekt entwickeln wir ein Computermodell, das in der Lage ist, neuronale Adaptation im medialen Temporallappen des Menschen zu reproduzieren.

Dieses Projekt untersucht die neuronalen Mechanismen, die der Adaptation im medialen Temporallappen des Menschen zugrunde liegen, unter Verwendung biologisch plausibler rekurrenter spikender neuronaler Netzwerke. Das resultierende Modell, das adaptive exponentielle Integrate-and-Fire-Neuronen mit synaptischer Plastizität kombiniert, reproduziert experimentell beobachtete Adaptationseffekte und zeigt, dass die Geometrie semantischer Eingaberepräsentationen das Ausmass und den zeitlichen Verlauf der neuronalen Adaptation entscheidend prägt.
