AI at UniDistance Suisse: Policy, Governance and Support

Since May 2026, UniDistance Suisse has had an institutional policy on artificial intelligence (AI) that provides the overarching framework for the responsible use of AI across the university.

This information event is open to all members of UniDistance Suisse and aims to explain the content of the AI policy and its practical implications for everyday activities in teaching, research, administration and services. Participants will gain an overview of the principles and expectations established by the policy, as well as the opportunities and responsibilities associated with the use of AI.

The event will also present the governance structure that supports the implementation of the policy and introduce the support mechanisms available to members of the university.

Physical attendance is strongly encouraged in order to facilitate discussion and exchange among participants. The event will be followed by an apéro, providing an opportunity for networking and informal conversations.
