The Matterhorn Symposium aims at connecting behavioral and experimental economists in Switzerland with international colleagues. The symposium focuses on the interplay between people's behavior and behavioral attributes (e.g., social preferences, risk attitudes, wishful thinking) and the institutional framework in which they interact (e.g., formal and informal rules, monetary and non-monetary incentives) with the aim of better understanding and advancing human cooperation to solve important economic and societal problems.

It takes place from Oct 19 to Oct 21 2023 at the campus of UniDistance Suisse in Brig.

The Matterhorn Symposium is funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation.
